This is Nintendo’s best opportunity to standardize the second circle pad on their 3DS platform. Without it, it just means that future games are less likely to support it.
To think that Nintendo went through all that trouble of creating a somewhat bulky add-on for the original 3DS to better support games like Monster Hunter and Resident Evil: Revelations, it is somewhat mind-boggling that they neglected to make it an essential design in their new iterative model, especially one that is this large in size.
Too bad the new XL doesn’t come in pink. I guess I will have to wait a little bit longer. =)
